Making offerings at our ceremony at the sacred Tree

These weather workers dedicate their lives to service, working to bring the balance of weather to their home communities so their lands will thrive and their people benefit. Committing their time and resources to this work, these new, but traditional, weather workers spend anywhere from ten to 25 days in the central highlands of Mexico, the home of this lineage, deepening their relationship to this work through annual ceremonies and teachings in order to “work” or actively influence the local forces of climate through ritual and relational engagement. In addition, they provide financial support for their ceremonial center and their lineage elder.

For many weather workers, this is a big financial commitment, and we welcome outside support. The donations you can make will produce a substantial difference in bringing this vital work forward in the world and will help to preserve and sustain the thousands-of-years-old tradition for generations to come.

Your donations will help to complete the purchase of the ceremonial land, maintain and expand their ceremonial center, provide scholarships to weather workers in need, and support the annual ceremonies.

Casa Xiuhtecuhtli was purchased in 2014 with a loan to the Temple of Sacred Fire Healing by funders. The Temple is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit spiritual organization dedicated to the preservation, training, and practice of spiritual traditions and healing. Through donations from weather workers and others, the Temple of Sacred Fire Healing supports the continuation of the Nahua weather working tradition and their ceremonial home. Your financial support will sustain this work to continue in the world for the benefit of all mankind.
